1918A3 Browning Semi-Auto Self Loading Rifle
The Browning Automatic Rifle (BAR) model 1918 was developed by John M. Browning in 1917. Marlin-Rockwell Corporation, Colt and Winchester made 85,000 rifles during WWI to meet the U.S. military requirement.
Ohio Ordnance Works, Inc. manufactures a semi-automatic version of this rifle; 1903A3 (WWII version). The only one of its kind in production anywhere in the world. It is manufactured with some of the original USGI WWI and WWII parts.
For the last 15 years, we have taken great care in the building of each rifle. Only the highest quality Ohio Ordnance original and USGI standard parts are used in its production. The heart of the 1918A3 is the receiver made from an 8620 steel casing that has been carburized and induction heat treated. The castings are machined on state-of-the-art CNC machines. Every rifle is fully assembled, inspected, test-fired and re-inspected under the direct supervision of our master armorer.
The entire manufacturing process is accomplished at the facility in Chardon, Ohio. The team is made up of experts in the military ordnance field, some with over 40 years experience in the trade.

Available in 9mm and .40 S&W, the new M&P SHIELD features a slim design
combined with the proven and trusted features found in the M&P Pistol
Series. From the pistol’s easily concealed one-inch profile to its optimized
18-degree grip angle, the M&P SHIELD offers professional-grade features that
provide consumers with simple operation and reliable performance.
Chambered in 9mm and .40 S&W for proven stopping power, the M&P SHIELD
features a high-strength polymer frame with a black, Melonite® coated
stainless steel slide and barrel. Both models are standard with a 3.1-inch
barrel, which contributes to an overall length of 6.1 inches and an unloaded
weight of 19 ounces. For fast tracking and smooth target acquisition, the
M&P SHIELD is standard with a 5.3-inch sight radius and has been enhanced
with a short, consistent trigger pull measuring 6.5 pounds. Featuring a
quick and audible reset made possible by the striker-fired action, the M&P
SHIELD allows multiple rounds to be placed on target both consistently and
accurately.
